WiFi connection

May 17, 2019ShoutCheapFAQ

Highly recommend you use a wired (cable) connection when you are broadcasting (streaming). This wireless internet is susceptible to interference from devices like cellphones, microwaves, and various other devices.

Also, your WiFi Router will decrease your internet connection speed, This can cause you to lose packets when streaming leading to skipping or buffering of your radio show which results in listeners being lost. It is much better to use a wired connection to avoid this possibility and improve the quality of your show for your listeners.
